Week 8 – Day 7

P-Day nothing to report, cleaning, writing, shopping, and not much else!

Week 8 – Day 6

Today was a great day, we had 4 investgaitors at church. alouis, maria, angela, and another sisters husband. Angela was bearing her testimony when we taught gospel principles. The spirit was super strong, and it was just an awesome class, i was on the verge of tears, because it is exactly why im here, to share these things in peoples lives. I gave lagoonies the priesthood, and after i blessed him through the promtings of the spirit to be a leader of the church, as long as he continues on this path. The day was amazing, spiritual, and a big boost for the next week!!!

Week 8 – Day 5

Was in a bad mood today so, i didnt write much, but we did go to the temple, it helped to lift my spirits my last time in my mission going to there.

Week 8 – Day 4

The day was kinda a flop..I was getting in bed nice and comfy when my comp, says we got to go use the phone, so we went and i was sitting there when a man started talking to me, angel. He agreed to hear our message, but if we hadnt been there at that moment i may never of met him! Once again, the lords timing!

Week 8 – Day 3

We taught maria the plan of salvation, she was so prepared to recive the gospel, she reads what we ask, asks good questions, she feeds on the words of the gospel, its awesome, my first area and a golden investigaitor. Had an activity at church tonight, and angela and her family were there. so was lagoonies and his daughter. the people here remind me of home, makes you miss being a kid just a bit!! it was good to see lagoonies involved, he is awesome! He will be a leader of the church here.

Week 8 – Day 2

a great day!!! Lagoonies, asked that i give him the melchizedek priesthood sunday which i will!! We taught homberto today, i gave him the baptismal challange, my comp. didnt wanna give it, but he said yes!! my first baptism!! That keeps me going, cause without things like that my dead feet and heat beaten body might just quit on me!

Week 8 – Day 1

a good day even though we only had two lessons. One of them was with a member…but the other with maria was great! Shes the bomb!! My knowledge of the scriptures and gospel finally put to the test she was baby baptized, and didnt know what to think, i asked if she believed a child could commit sin, and she said of course not. so i gave a scripture either 8. hopfully that can ansawer her question. Next lesson we are gonna teach the plan of salvation. Had my first sandwich last night….boy was it good! somthing diffrent, not gonna lie i kinda miss americian food!!

Week 7 – Day 5

Its interesting how i can talk and understand so much more each day. We met with lagunes again. he has been reading a church book and is comming to church tomorrow. hes planning to bless the sacerment, and to go to the temple how exciting!
An interesting thought me and my companion talked about how we have opposition in everything from cars passing by to loud noices to a text message you name it. reminded my of a quote from the mtc satans work of distruction is through distraction. so true!
